Client Work: Fungal Warlock

Really excited to get the OK to show off this piece I did for a client’s CRPG earlier this year!  I had a lot of fun with this character and this strange, ominous landscape.

The game itself is currently in production.  If you want to follow its progress, you can find the developer on Twitter @emptyfortress and Mastodon

Client Work: Succubus sprite

I’m back to doing some more sprite work for Brian’s fantasy visual novel, and I’m pretty excited to show off this succubus character.  I love her!  On the left is the original “neutral pose” sprite I created awhile back.  On the right is her “combat pose” variation I completed earlier this week.

Kickstarter Complete!

The Owl-Woman Oracle deck Kickstarter campaign ended earlier this week, and I’m very happy to announce that, not only was it fully funded, we actually exceeded the funding goal enough to add both gilded edges to the cards and a small booklet explaining the cards’ meanings!

It will be about two weeks until the funds transfer, and when that happens, the OWO deck will be going to print!  I’m so excited about this project and grateful for everyone’s interest!

Owl-Woman Oracle Deck Kickstarter

I’m very excited to announce that today I launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund a print run of the Owl-Woman Oracle Deck!

The deck is comprised of the 22 major arcana cards I created for the Owl-Woman Oracle fortune teller game.  My goal in designing this deck was to create an unabashedly feminine tarot.  Those familiar with the traditional tarot will notice that typically “masculine” cards, such as the Emperor and the Hierophant, instead feature female figures like the Matriarch and the Abbess.  I wanted to demonstrate how the archetypal meanings of these cards are not limited to any one gender expression.   I also wanted to show that femininity takes on many different forms – so you’ll see a variety of body types, skin tones, and ages featured in the card art.

I’m very proud of this little deck I pulled together, and I hope you’ll consider supporting it!  Pledging $30 or more will get you a copy of the deck (shipping anywhere!), but every little bit helps!  Check out the Owl-Woman Oracle deck campaign on Kickstarter!

Another Live2D test!

I’m back to playing around with Live2D’s Cubism animation software.  This is part of the masked ball scene from a GxG version of Phantom of the Opera that exists only in my head for the time being.
