It’s been awhile since I last posted some work I did for clients, so here’s a background illustration I completed recently for Brian Fenn’s fantasy visual novel that’s in development.

I’m pretty excited to show off these icon designs for a new game project I’m cooking up! These will be going into a pitch document and possibly the game itself. Stay tuned for more info!
Learning Blender
After telling myself for years that I’m going to do it, I’m finally teaching myself the basics of Blender 3D modeling. My end goal is to speed up my process when drawing architectural backgrounds by blocking in the main forms in 3D. Here’s my first attempt:
I made some sort of small chapel using mostly the Archimesh add-on. Unfortunately, Blender kept crashing every time I try to render an image (for reasons I still haven’t worked out). So my horrible kludgy solution was to screencap the camera view and paste that into Clip Studio.
I painted the lighting, details, etc over top of the screencap…
…Aaaannd here’s the finished product!
This background is part of a mockup for an RPG idea I have floating around in my head, so you’ll be seeing more of it in the near future!

Client Work: King sprites
Haven’t posted in a bit, because I’ve been really busy. Things are finally slowing down some, so I thought I’d take the opportunity to share this! Here are couple of sprites I made for a King Lear-esque character in my client Brian’s fantasy VN!
Client Work: Succubus sprite
I’m back to doing some more sprite work for Brian’s fantasy visual novel, and I’m pretty excited to show off this succubus character. I love her! On the left is the original “neutral pose” sprite I created awhile back. On the right is her “combat pose” variation I completed earlier this week.
Client work: Walking Away splash screen
Oh wow, it’s been a minute since I last posted here. My holidays were very busy, but I’ve gotten back to my usual routine over the past few weeks. To prove it, here’s a new splash screen I did for my client Brian’s fantasy VN!
Owl-Woman Oracle OUT NOW!
I’m extremely excited to announce that the fortune teller game I’ve been working on for the past two years is finally out in the world! Check it out here on Itch.io
It’s pay-what-you-want for Windows, Mac, Linux, and Android 🙂
Owl-Woman Oracle Gallery
I recently implemented a gallery in Owl-Woman Oracle, so that players can browse all the card illustrations without having to do the randomized readings. Just lots of imagemaps…. 🙂
