Choice Menus

I’ve been doing some work on the choice menus in my as-of-yet-unannounced visual novel project. In the video above, I’m testing out a menu blur effect that uses Ren’Py’s new model-based renderer. Below are some fancier buttons I implemented later.

Client Work: Adopted

Earlier this week, I finished up this splash screen illustration for my client Brian’s fantasy visual novel. This one was really enjoyable, because I got to focus in on this interaction between the king character and his newly-adopted son. Adoption is commonplace in the game’s setting, which I find really interesting!
